how i got to be a diabetic

I went to my doctor on may of 2010 for my doctor visit and the lady came into my room and did blood work and said be back in a few . five to 8 min later the doctor came in and said i am now a have pre-diabetes now here is a paper to get a two meters one for home and one for work since i work at night .

I lost a lot of weight since i know i had pre-diabetes

I work is helping me a lot too to eat well it has been one year now since I learned i was an pre-diabetes .

and since i came a where of the diabetic connect web site that my coworker told me about . I learned a lot how to take better care for my shelf I just hop I can not get used to getting poked now ever day . sabber32

now I go see my doctor every 6 months now for a check up so far my numbers are looking great what the docter said to me

To bad with all our technology we cant invent a non invasive meter. Also in my opinion there is no such thing as pre diabetes.

I wish thee was a non-invasive meter! I'm allergic to the metal used for the stupid lancets. I'm past tired of getting a blister every time I use it. :( On the other hand, I always know where I have been.
