Talk with your pharmacist. I buy the stuff labeled no sugar, or Diabetic. The regular stuff, while, to me it works better and faster, shoots my sugars up. If i am trying to relieve my aches and pains, I will warm up 1/2 cup of brandy.

Why are you scared?

A great help is the generic version of Air Borne. Its sold at Walgreen's and called Wal-born. Its a combination of vitamins and herbs designed to build your immune system. You must drink it 4 times a day for a few days. So two boxes are needed. Regular vitamins don't get into your system as they are not liquid form, also the helpful herbs are a plus. Get a Neti pot also sold at Walgreen's to flush your sinuses. There are no side affects from either of these but you will feel better quickly if all you have is a cold.
