Hello all!
I'm new to this site. There appears to be a whole lot of useful tools here. Was wondering if there is a "Diabetic Connect For Dummies" lol
Can anyone offer me advice on how to become involved?

You just did! LOL
The way I got started was just like this. I posted a question I had and before I knew it I was off and running. There are all kinds of great things to do here..I am still figuring some of it out.

This is the best site for just haning with some friends and finding out how they deal with things and how you can learn and share your life with us.

Welcome to the family. We are so glad you're here.

Welcome, TW!

You've found a great place to learn from others with diabetes. These discussion boards are a great place to read the tips and advice from others. And anytime you want to chime in, just hit "Add Reply" and share your thoughts.

Clearly, you already know how to start your own discussion :-)

The recipe section is also very popular. And in product reviews you can read about other people's experiences with various diabetes-related products.

As one member put it once, just start clicking--you're not going to break anything :-)

Again, welcome. Have a great day.
