God bless Doctor Arthur moon for helping me cure my diabetes type 2. Brethren, i have suffered diabetes for a long period of time, i have tried so many remedy, but known seems to work. But i had contact with a herbal doctor who i saw so many people testifying on how they were all cured of their various disease and viruses by this doctor. So i explained my entire problem to him, and he promised to cure me. So i gave him all benefit of doubt, and behold he prepared the herbal mixture, and send it to me in my country. Today, i am proud to say i am diabetes free, and my sugar level has been restored to normal. So in case you are out there suffering from diabetes and other diseases or virus, i want to tell you to quickly contact: Arthur moon for your cure. His email is arthurmoon01@gmail.com small

I'm Type 2 but my cholesterol is only 70. I don't eat foods most people do - no fried foods, no pastries (don't like it), low sugars and carbs (hard to on carbs as I love really good homemade breads). But I eat between 8 - 10 fruits a day - but not ripe ones, am used to fruits being a bit green and hard.

Yup - am slowly but surely dragging these old posts to the top (sorry - new here and just love answering these things)! I crave weird things… my guy HATES onions, so we just don't keep them in the house… I crave them sometimes. I used to crave red licorice (the Australian kind)… I can't remember the last time I had it though (out of sight out of mind for some things). Sometimes I crave olives… told ya my cravings were weird! LOL! Oh - Chinese food… THAT used to be a BIG craving of mine… the last time I had it, my blood sugar went WAY up , so I don't even THINK about it these days. Hmmmm… I love talking about food but will shut up now! :-)

for my 56th birthday I had a piece of marble cake from a bakery. I am sure my BS was off the charts. I look at it this way. If you don't do something like this once in a while you will stop dieting all together. This way I am good for the go for awhile.

I love dark chocolate and small portions can be beneficial. I read that you should not drink milk with it.

My health food store has cacao nibs. It's the inside of a cocoa bean and it tastes like dark chocolate. A tiny bit goes a long way and gives you energy. NOT like caffeine, a healthy way!

vanilla or pecan ice cream. Well ice cream period. The sugar free kind just isn't the right thing. Not creamy enough or something…

received your last post and let the talks begin sounds so cute to me. Made me laugh. 80 lbs. is allot of weight to loose…be so proud of yourself. I've lot 70 lbs and a bunch to go. My BG holds well at 5.7, that's hard to hold but much easier to maintain since my weight loss. By the time I get to my goal I'll be doing quite well, health wise that is. That's my goal… to be somewhat healthy again. Oh yeah, I've been T2 since 2009. October the 10th or there about. I know now I had been diabetic for a while then, I just had it varified then. I was put on insulin straight away. Talk to you soon, Hugs, Peggy

Like all of you, I had to learn that major dietary changes were necessary and I've managed to accept those changes. The only thing that I miss is fruit. I know that there are lower and higher carbs (fructose) in different fruits, but I've had no luck with any of them.

Someone said they miss "Dr. Pepper." Zevia makes sodas using stevia. They also make "Dr. Stevia", which tastes exactly like the original.

I crave one of my major no-no's…cheese. Once upon a short time ago, if I had a plate of food, something had cheese on it…whether it needed it or not. I still eat it, just not to the extent I used to.

Oh yeah. And plain chips with french onion dip. Mmmmm…

CHOCOLATE, POTATOE CHIPS, ICE CREAM, fried chicken. How do we solve the problem? when we have the money for it, my hubby keeps ONE of my favorite IC flavors in the freezer and lets my have 2 ounces a couple of times a week. he suprizes me with a little bag of chips or cheetos every so often. fried chicken is a special splurge item only. and he has figured out his own NO-SUGAR recipe for chocolate-mocka silk fudge that I can have any time he feels like making it. and YES I AM EXTREMELY SPOILED!!! He is one of the rare jems. I am a very lucky woman. GRINS&HAPPYS——-Meowbat

Chocolate in just about any form. For me, if I don't have a treat once in a great while, I know I will fail at food control. a tiny bitof a treat a couple times a month helps me stay controlled.
