Is it a problem if I've suddenly got callouses on the side and top of a middle toe? I can't find any reason (shoes, etc.) for this. It's making me pretty nervous. We just discovered it tonight. Thanks for any information you may have.

I also have callouses on my feet and toes. I've shown them to my endo and he said that as long as they don't crack open and are not really causing me any pain, then just keep an eye on them and they shouldn't be a problem. Mine are mainly on the sides and bottom of my big toes and my heels. Most likely caused by a slight change in the way I walk. I use foot creams to keep them from drying out and cracking, but they never really go completely away.

I have them in the same places, Shelly. It's this one in the middle that seems odd. Thanks for the encouragement. I will show it to my doctor the next time I see him, but you've made me feel much better about this! THANK YOU!
