Count your blessings.

OK so you do not see any blessings at this time and do not want to think of any in any case. So try this I can breath, I can walk, I can see, I can hear. This is more than some can do right. So once your mind gets on a positive track than let more come to you like I have a good family friends or dog cat ect. I have food a roof over my head. I can think. Just little things until the pic gets bigger and brighter. And go from there. I know it is hard and thinking is hard at a time of very bad depression from being diabetic or what ever just start small and build.

All we need to do is stop, look around and see how very blessed with are with our lives..So much beauty surrounds us like, our family, friends,nature and just the simple little things…

You are so right! Everyone has something to be thankful for regardless of their circumstances. I try to start each morning thanking God for the gift of today. No matter how depressed you may be feeling, once you start listing your blessings the list just keeps getting longer.
