This is so odd: I always prick my right pinky (on the side) to test my bs. But every time i use a different finger other than a pinky i have a much higher reading! This morning i pricked my right pinky as usual. My reading was 115. So i decided to prick my middle finger just to see if it matched. My reading was 155 !! So then i pricked my left pinky finger and it read 114. That was only 1 point lower than my right pinky. I've did this before…every time when it's on a bigger finger it always reads really high! That's why i always test on my pinky. I am so confused by this!! Has anyone out there ever had this odd thing to happen to them? WHY does this do this?? HELP!

Talk to your doctor. You can get different numbers from repeated testing of the same blood

Thanks for your reply but not sure what you mean by "testing of the same blood". Do you mean by testing on the "same finger"?

I really wouldn't have an idea about that Janet. Here is a discussion from DC from last year:

I looked on Google to see if there was an explanation. Here is one from TuDiabetes: .

I pray this helps.
