This tool is a real help for me and I want to share it with you.

I've been a type II diabetic for 17 years. I have a variety of illnesses that compound my problems which require that I take 32 medications each day. Recently it has become harder and harder to control my A1C and my chiolesterol. It wouldn't hurt if I lots 50 ponds either.

My husband started using "" and suggested that I try it. I've been using it for more than 1 month. I log in multiple times each day to input the food I've eaten, my gluclose and insulin numbers.

You have the ability to list the number of calories you want to limit yourself to each day as well as the the gluclose and insulin levels your doctor has set for you.

There is a light edition for windows based cell phones, however, it does not offer tracking for insulin and glucose.

Lance Armstrong, a cancer survivor and 7-time champion of the Tour de France was the inspiration for this website.

Morning glucose levels — I am having problems with my morning glucose levels.
When I go to bed it is usally between 120 and 180. My pc told me not to take more insulin if I'm under 200 before bed. But latrely when I wake up it is anywhere between 140 and 297 (this morning). Has anyone had this problem and found a solution?

Welcome Svenka. I think sharing information on this site is one of the reasons I am here almost daily. Tracking programs are a great tool that I only have recently started to use. I received an IPad as a gift and I use an app called Diabetes Buddy. I think it was $4.99 but it is a complete tracking and information program that records medications, BG readings, H2O, exercise and has a built-in carb and calorie program for home cooking, name brand foods and many restaurant foods. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the site and the people here.

Hum, this is a new member pushing a site. Suspicious. And it is the week end when the spammers abound.

Mary to share a site with us is NOT a violation of the Terms of Use. Otherwise I would be violating it whenever I posted a search result.

And spammers don't come ONLY on weekends, but they do LAST longer on weekends due to a smaller staff at the Administration on weekends.

It is good you are vigilant Mary, but don't worry TOO much about it. It takes all the fun out of this website for you (been there done that — didn't enjoy it).

Believe me I am not a spammer. I am a newcommer to your site but a longtime type II diabetic. is helping me meet the goals set by my doctors.

My sincere apologies to you Svenka. Like James said I need to lighten up a bit (lot maybe). That was a horrible welcome for an honest new member to the site. There is another site that offers a similar program I think Spark maybe. For myself I just keep a journal in a notebook. Again I am sorry and Welcome to DC,

Howdy Svenka! WELCOME to DC!
I am familiar with Livestrong and use its resources from time to time. I believe you. You don't act like a spammer or a salesperson. Mary and I have and others here on DC have been having a go-round with a spammer who has gotten quite nasty when he was called on his "activities" violating the terms of use we all agreed to before we signed on to the website.

Oh and btw thank you for accepting my friend request!

I pray we'll see you around the site

Praying God's blessings on you and yours!
