What would happen if a diabetic would start smoking, and doing drugs? Such as LSD. But I am saying this. I am diabetic, and I never, and ver will do any of those things. But I just want to know.

drugs would be better than drinking beer or alcohol. I did not know LSD is popular as it was during the 60 and 70. When it comes to manufactured illicit drugs you could know the added ingredients and oppose to abusing legal pharmicals. My best bet is to get high on life.

Agree with your last sentence rich. But I would respectfully disagree with your first sentence about drugs being better than alcohol. One really doesn't know what is in the illegal drugs.

Well I think any street drug will harm you,we all know smoking is not good for you,but some of us still do it.I am on enough medications without adding any ,seen to much when I worked in ER of what street drugs can do to a person, especially when they are mixed with perscribed drugs

I have no idea. I lived through the 60's & 70's in Philly and managed to steer clear of the drug culture. A high school classmate took a dive off the roof on LSD because he thought he could fly. Sadly, I got to see the body after it hit. As for smoking, my Dad smoked 2 packs of Camel a day and our pediatrician told him he was killing his kids. Dad stopped cold turkey and none of us 6 kids ever took it up for any long period of time. My oldest brother did for awhile, but he asked a girl out and she said no, she didn't go out with guys that smoke. After he stopped smoking for 6 months, she went out, they married, had 3 kids, now have 9 grand kids. I figure I have enough stuff that life has thrown my way and I do not need to add to that list. Hello Nyu-chan, I had stopped smoking but when I got a call at work from a stupid nurse that told me I had diabetes I called my friend and told her. She came to where I was and yep I asked her for a cigarette and have continued to be a smoker ever since.
Instead of LSD you might try getting a migraine, you will see the tracers without harming your meds. For many if you smoke pot you will get the munchies and that will lead to trouble. As for other drugs you would most likely die young but would not care. Everything that we put into our bodies inter-reacts. Some common OTC's (over the counter) meds do not mix with our prescriptions. Sudafed mixed with Metformin can cause heart attacks.
