When you find yourself in a stressful situation or start to fell tense, sit down, close your eyes, and take a few slow, deep breaths. Try to spend 10 to 20 minutes several times a week practicing deep breathing. Sit with your eyes closed, focusing only on your breathing or something pleasent, and clear your mind of stressful thoughts. Laughter is a great stress buster. A good sence of humor will lighten your spirits and make stress more manageable.
