I don't know about you but I have dry skin. It used to be just in the Fall and Winter but then in changed to all year around. I have tried several of the creams and lotions on the Walmart shelf. Finally, I have found the
Answer for my dry skin and possibly this will help you to. This was originally mentioned in passing by a CA from another site.
The answer is: Coconut Oil. The only place I was able to find it, was the local Health Food Store. It cost $8 for a 12 ounce jar. It is in the Food Section, not in the Body Lotion of the store where I expected to find it. It works well on my face, arms, legs and tummy. A little goes a long way.

I've been plagued with dry skin all my life and as I've gotten older it has gotten a lot worse. I can't use a lot of skin softeners because of allergies and the scents most of them have. One thing I found a few years ago that really helps and I only need use it 2 - 3xs a week is baby oil gel. I get mine at Wal-Mart and it really does help a lot. Rub it all over either right out of the shower (recommended) or just before going to bed (which for me is also usually right out of shower) 2 - 3xs a week and I'm good to go. :) Coconut Oil sounds like it may be good too and probably not bother my scent allergies - too much anyway.
