Hi all, I have been really busy these last 5 days. My daughter who lives in Memphis TN got married saturday. I have been so stress out trying to do help with the last minutes details. My blood sugar have been all over the place because I was not eating right or not enough. On the day of the wedding I did not eat until almost 5pm when they began serving dinner. I felt like I was going to drop on the floor. My daughter had someone to get me some appertiser to kind of hold me until I can eat a proper meal. I am gled that all of that is over and that I am back home in chicago. Hope that everyone had a great holiday . Lots of love and internet hugs to all.

Happy occasions can be the hardest and I am happy for you. I must offer a gentle tsk tsk for not taking good care of yourself. I am a big believer in planning for these things and I admit that I failed to stay focused. Next time I vow to do better.

Congratulations Rhonda! Please take care of yourself now. I have a son getting married in October, I understand it will be a big to-do. Fortunately since I am the groom's father his mother and I are on the hook for the rehersal dinner. But according to his momma, the bride even has big plans for that. OH well, 2 down and 1 more son to go! LoL!

Goodness I know what you went through .Because I went through it to on the 13th of August to be exact. Not to mention it was here at my house. They had a Rose Ceramony,My God Mother Bless her heart for doing it is an Ordained Minister.
At 1st I didnt want to do it but I love my brat just not her choice in men or should I say boys .Anyhow,I got up at the crack of dawn cleaned the house the yard, all while mind you they did nothing to help accept drive me crazy and give me a headache out of this world.Oh yeah I catered this thing too I provided everything, the bride, the food, the house, the minister, and the rings but those I didnt mind parting with they were from my grandparents and I told her that no matter what she is never to pawn them or loose them they meant that much to me that I gave them to her for her wedding. My sister came through with the cake It was beautiful .I didnt eat till late that evening after cleaning up and making plates for all to take home .as usual I made enough for the army, navy, air force and marines and still had some left over for a few days.the cake well thats in the freezer more diabetics in this family than a lil bit.But it was ok i took the frosting off and ate just the cake it was a lemon sponge omg was it good.now your home thats good to hear and your safe as well. the holiday was good a bit cold but ok .Hope yours was the same without the cold you know.
Lots of love to you as well

Wow, I'm glad that everything turned out great. My daughter had to do most of all the running for her wedding. By the time she got to the wedding she was tired and burned out. Weddings can be beautiful once all the stress of planning it is over. Congratulations to you and your daughter.
