I am in need of some serious motivation. I've been suffering from migraine headaches AND trying to keep my numbers down so I haven't been feeling that great. The headaches take a lot out of me. And I have a goal to lose a total of 67 lbs. I've already lost 11 lbs but its such a slow process. What does everyone else do to stay motivated?

I'm there with you. I have "other" stuff going on, so I have tremendously painful & gruesome periods. I had started exercising but when my "cycle" came around I just couldn't. I forgave myself and allowed myself to take the week off. I'll be back at it on Monday. It's hard to stay motivated. I walk on the treadmill & have a stationary bike… Same thing over & over & over - blah. I even gained 2 pounds - I hope from muscle development. Ugg!!! But I just steel myself - I know it must be done. I bought some CD's that "pump me up" to make it more fun and pass the time quicker. And I write the exercise on my blood glucose journal so that makes me accountable. I'm trying REAL hard to get off the insulin - so I try to focus on that goal. Previously, I was tracking all the miles I walked. I told myself if I walked enough miles to make it from my house in Florida to NYC, I'd take a trip up there. That goal was too big - so I didn't succeed. Maybe log your miles and "walk" to the mall, beach or something. Reward yourself with a trip or a special gift each time you walk enough miles to get there…
