Hi everyone. I'm Zolea.
Back in 1995 I was told I'm hypothyroid and would most likely be on medication for it the rest of my life. So far that has been true. My dosage has gone up and down over the years, and my weight steadily went up.
Then in 2003 I blew out 3 disks in my lumbar and am still battling for my benefits.
2007 high blood pressure was added to the list. 2008 high cholesterol. 2010 type 2 diabetes.
If I were a horse, I'd'a been shot years ago. Anyway…I have gotten no help from any of the doctors who diagnosed me other than to have pills thrown at me. My big problem is diet. I do not sit around eating junk food all day. I eat chicken and fish (mostly salmon), added more veggies. I cannot exercise because of the back…that's when my weight really started to go up.
So, what can I do?
