I am 60 years old and was prescribed my first pair of glasses in April 2011. I have needed reading glasses for about 10 years. Though not too bad + .75 on left and + 1 on the right. At first my vision was very good with the glasses. The beginning of July this year I have worked very hard and now have my type 2 bg under good control. Now I am seeing better distance without my glasses then with them. Has anyone else experiences this? I plan to put those glasses away for old age.

I've worn glasses since I was 8. Got diagnosed w/diabetes at 50, so one has zip to do with the other, in fact, my prescription has only changed slightly in the past 4 years! I can't see much without my glasses, close, far or otherwise!
Thank goodness for the glasses, my vision is pretty perfect with them.
I will go to my grave wearing classy glasses!!
