Hey guys! I'd just like to let u that I'm NOT diabetic. I'm using this app for my BFF who was recently diagnosed. My BFF doesn't have access to this app so I'm posting and reading info for her. She has type 2 and was actually hospitalized for about a week when she found out. I basically know nothing about diabetes and I'm seeking as much info as I can.my BFF is stressed out about getting diabetes and I don't blame her. I would feel the exact same way. I'm doing everything I can to support her and help her. If u have any advice or info whatsoever I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks,
Sam

P.s me and my BFF are 13 in case you were wondering :)

Good for you!! Keep up the support! Diabetes can seem so complicated but the best thing you can do is go to the library, school or public, and ask for help to see if they have any reading material suited for your age group. It is out there. My youngest became a diabetic at age 12 and the reading material I received, geared to his age, really helped. Don't be afraid to ask specific questions, no matter how silly they may seem, we all have been there. Keep up the good work!!
