berries are my favorites best for you highest in fiber count.
bananas baby peeled carrots and sun tea. If i have and addictions at all those are it.
Hard to get the fruit that you all mentioned. Would need a loan to buy most of them. And guess what 99% dont even mess up my bs.
Wild black raspberries first, any raspberry next, blackberries, strawberries, watermelon with the seeds. What the heck fun is watermelon without spitting the seeds on the lawn?
I love mango and cantalope. But one of the best is a tart, fresh Winesap apple.
I like clementines. They are easy to peel and I can have two of them for a snack (9g carb each)
The antioxidents are good and lower's blood sugars, they are in strawberries and grapes, few more I can't remember off hand. I eat one apple a day, a smaill and strawberries to. It depends on the person I think.
I like apples. I will eat strawberries. But doesn't a regular diet of fruit raise your sugar levels?
better thaneating all that junk food fruits better for you little junk food is ok but fruits a better juice.
I agree. I tend to snack on Fiber One bars and apples.
Only your glucometer will tell you that for sure. I may tend to, but we each are sensitive to different foods and drinks. What may spike you, may barely bother me.
My favorites are Mango, Papya, Kiwi, Pomegranate, Pineapple. I actually love all fruit but those are at the top of the list.
My favorites are those yellow/red cherries that are out right now. I have to work very hard to get them into my diet because they have a high carb count. But I also like Raspberries, Blackberries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Peaches, Nectarines, & Blueberries which seem to be the fruits with the lowest carb count.
Almost all of them. I love stone fruits, grapes especially black, berries, citrus (sadly I cannot have grapefruit, apples, pears, melons and tropical fruits. My dad always had fruit but he let most of it rot. I like to share mine even if run out. I ate a lot of candy but always preferred fruit. We grew up around orchards and I was the one that bought produce for the family market so I am very choosy. Good fruit is hard to find.
I love watermelon/bananas,but can't have either…they drive bg#'s up, so, I like apples, peaches, seedless grapes (10)..
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with pineapple. I hope you know your limit now.
I love pineapple and I will never forget, several years ago, one summer I bought a pineapple and took the outside off and ate the whole thing! I had an allergic reaction because I ate so much at one time. I was also practically glues to the toilet. This happened before I was dx'd with diabetes. I also love dried fruit like apricots and prunes. Green seedlees grapes in the freezer are a nice treat, but for diabetics, it is only 10 of these at one time.
The same
I love a great peach too
Best wishes
Harlen
Thanks for the reply
the dried cranberries sound good, I will try that
Fresh strawberries and cherries. Can't get enough!
like cherries but strwberries for me are hard to get into, I think they arent sweet enough for me LOL
I don't have a favorite. I love pineapple, watermelon, cantelope, peaches, grapes, apples, mango, raisins, oranges, all types of berries and bananas. I like sprinkling dried cranberries on my salad and topping it off with raspberry vinagrette salad dressing.
