I get these night hungers, or night cravings. I would eat an apple with peanut butter, but in the morning, my blood sugar would be high. Like 204. What is the best snack you like to eat at night, and which one should I eat to lower my blood sugar when I wake up?

I have 1/4 cup of plain greek style yogurt and 1/4 cup of blueberries for 9 carbs. It helps me and tastes like dessert too.

How about a snack bar that is about 21 carbs - If my bG is below 120 I have to eat somethingor i will bottom out during the night - like 40s. I eat a snack bar if I am hungy and it usually only brings me up 20 or 30 points. in the morning I am about 110. There are a lot of snack bars out there now - high protein - low carb. I can't eat fruit at night. My bG would be sky high i the morning.

I can't eat fruit after dinner. My blood sugar is too high the next morning. I'll eat carrots, sugar free jello or sugar free popsicles.

Every body is different and you should expirment with different things to see which one gives you the best results. I like baby carrots because they are sweet and satsifying :) see what works best with your body. Good luck and God bless!

I eat some baby carrots or raw cauliflower with a couple of slices of cheese. Some nights I'll splurge and go for a high fiber bar or a low-fat yogurt. I find that if I eat something higher in protein or fiber, it helps to keep my numbers lower in the AM.
