Have any of you been on Victoza for any period of time. I just started and it seems to have two effects. The first is it has allowed me to lower my insulin from
110 Lantus 2x per day to 40 2 x per day
75 humalog 50/50 2 x per day to 60 am and 48 pm

Has anyone else had similar results.

the second affect has been i am not as hungry - in the 3 weeks on Victoza I have lost about 10 pounds. (one whole inch on my waist

Wow that's wonderful! No,I've never tried it I'm still on only insulins but it sounds like your having wonderful results! It makes me want to try it! Exactly what does it do? I know its a non insulin but what effects is it suppose to have on the body? I hope you don't mind me asking?

Victoza ia a hormone compound that causes insulin to be absorbed better. or so they tell me. it also has the effect of making younot hungry - ask your pharacist for some information or go online and do a search for theinformation. i am glad it works for me - hope you are able to use. God bless.
