I don't have any medical coverage & payed over $1 per test strip for yrs. I went on this website, and now have a free meter, & pay $57 for 100strips thru my pharmacy!!! I'm so happy!!I pray this helps at least one person out there! ( website www.MyFreeStyle.com )

I have a True2go meter which I have compared to blood draw tests on several occasions and found to be 100% accurate. Just found test strips for it on Amazon for $32 for 100! About as cheap as it's going to get. The lancets for this meter are terrible but I have lots left over from a OneTouch meter I had (which turned out to be very unreliable).

I use Arkray GlucoCard. I can order five 50 strip boxes for $46. It's a little bit of hassle that you have to put a new strip in each time - but there is no coding. The company has great reviews & has won some awards for performance. It's the cheapest I've found from a reliable company. The down-side is that you have to order them on-line… I have insurance, but save lots of money just skipping the insurance and ordering them myself. I had to buy the meter for about $16 (came with 50 test strips), but I'll save money over the long run with the cheaper strips even after paying for the meter.

I have no more insurance either. I'm going to try the Relion meter when I get some more money. I've been without supplies for a little while now. I tried an A1C test from Coremedica labs to see how I was doing. It's only $13.00 and free shipping. You take it at home and mail it back for results. Free postage to mail it back too. So far so good.

I posted last week that I recieved four coupons for a Free Breeze meter with prescription for strip. The Bayer company makes the machines and they doalso have an assistance program for the strips. If you would like I am more than happy to mail the coupons out it will save you a ton of money and with no insurance you will qualifie for the strips and possibly free of charge on those.
