Motivational Tips for Myself!!!

Always remember that diabetes is now a part of my life..
1. There will be days when you do not want to eat as you should, or days when my blood glucose discourages me.
2. There are no perfect days, but I have to continue moving forward with the right food choices and daily exercise.
3. I need to do my best to keep a positive attitude.
4. Remember, you are not perfect.
5. Make yourself a priority because no one else will for you.

Anybody have some other motivational tips you use for yourself????

Great idea, Mary: (1) I am reminded daily how important I am to my family. (2) I take care of myself for me, but if I need further motivation, I refer to (1). ;-) Mara

Another great discussion idea!

I especially like number 5. I constantly have to remind myself to take care of myself so that I can be there for others.

i would add for me the older i get the easier it is to walk away and leave stuff for awhile and than come back and look at it a different way or with new eyes and then i see things differently than i did before sometimes you just have to take time and then go back and revisiit it easier said than done but it does help :)
