food spicy and hot food

i love hot sauce and spicy food is there any thing good or bad about these things
i use a bottle of franks hot sauce a week i love it on almost any thing i don't use much salt on my food if any. hot sauce is fairly low on sodium and has very little else in it help if ya can thanks in advance

There is nothing wrong with hot and spicy sauces. You should expand your horizons though. There are much better sauces out there. I am particularly fond of the chipotle sauce. Much deeper flavor, with a slightly higher degree of heat. I also like Japanese Sriracha sauce, that will light you up in a hurry but has a very distinct pepper flavor.
Hot peppers when consumed make your body release endorphins which make us feel good. I really don't think that they will have very much effect on your BS.

thanks for that i love chipotle sauce and have tried the other i like sauce with flavor as well as heat i don't use much salt and try other-things for flavor

I have no experiene with that as I eat no hot sauce due to fear of irritating a bleeding ulcer, I used to like hot sauces, but not anymore, but here is something from a search. Here is a discussion from TuDiabetes:

thanks it ohly has 330 grams sodium in a tablespoon i can drink it right out of the bottle but i don't make a habit of that i liked the website very informative i was hopeing some would say for sure it's great for ya but we'll see

This is an interesting question. I really don't know the answer and I'm courouis how others will answer. I always "heard" spicy food is good for you when your ill with a cold or flu? It always seemed to make me feel better but maybe its in my "head" ? Who knows? …
