Just happened to think of that one. But the discussion does alighn with the choice. We all need help sometime, don't let your pride get in the way of the options of friends who offer their help. First of All, Almost No-One will offer to do anything they don't want to, And the people who say "Just give me a call, and I will do the best I can to help" because by denying them their option to help if they can, you are denying yourself the right to ask and the right those people have to offer to help. Also, they will eventually stop offering if you refuse to let them help, because as much as that might hurt your feelings and pride, it is hurting theirs as well, not to be considered to help you. And for those of you that don't have any friends to ask, remember your state and county, and all the assistance programs they have to offer, Home healt needs, Transportation, Financial Needs, Housing, Help with medicine and costs, Office of the aging. There is all kinds of help out there, all you have to do is open up your phonebook; especially under Human Services, And there are also schools and churches where there are plenty of volunteers, a lot adusted to their college prep, nursing and such, whatever; they look for people to help in their category to fulfill their volunteer service as a requirement, and will be happy to assist you with no pay. And often times you gain a few friends like that, so for those of you who do not have other assistance, don't be afraid, and don't deny yourself; there is just no excuse, so ask for it.
