I have had insomnia for years and medication doesn't help. My doctor prescribed pain medication but they don't help either. I did change my diet and started walking As a result my pain level is now very low grade. I have lost 75 lbs and I have more energy than I have had in years even though I still have insomnia. I have developed a positive attitude and no longer suffer from needless anxiety.

Start eating more protein with your meals and less carbs. Hace a protein shale in the morning with peanut butter. I have been there. I have done several experiments and studies with myself and protein is the answer. Remenber to exercise. Jim

Hi. Yes I've expirenced this what helped me was insulin. When I got put on my insulin I had soo much more energey and felt so much better! It was like night and day! As long as I take my insulin on time I don't feel that way anymore.this is my expirence. Also if your blood sugar is higher than it should be it can make you feel this way. Id talk to my doctor and see what he suggests.I wish you the best! God bless

I get the tired problem. I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago but have been an insomniac for the past 20 years. I've come to grips with the idea that this is my sleeping pattern but being sleepy ALL THE TIME! Before this started I never used to think about sleep but now it's always on my mind!
So sorry you feel so crappy. I know hie ut effects your quality of life.

I know what your going thrue
the only thing I can say I will never give up or give in to it
life is hard god know's it has thrown some bad things my way and yet I am still here.
I just got thrue a bad spot that I was unable to sit or stand for more then 2 to 3 min
it is getting better now slowly.
A lot of it is your outlook on life and whats going on with your life .
When I get down all I need to do is think how hard some others here have it .
Best wishes
