Hi everybody, sauce tomatos are about over here is Australia at the moment but I can't seem to find a diabetic friendly recipe for tomato sauce ( ketchup) or tomato relish can anyone help me out

Hey, RellyPoo howzit? my pasta dinners are plain boil the chiken breast dice the meat and I use stewed tomatoes or canned tomatoes its alright. What else do you eat in the wild game area? do they hunt wild pigs? I'm just curious being from northern alaska.

no wild pigs over here, we only have wild hens, mutton birds, and thank you for your recipe as I collect recipes I have a book shelf full.

1 tsp vegetable o1 tsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 lb lean ground round
3 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
4 cup water
1/4 tsp salt, optional
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 dash garlic

Brown onions in oil; add meat and brown. Drain fat; add rest of
ingredients. Simmer 1 hour uncovered. Serving size, 1/2 cup. (Lean meat
exchange 1, vegetable exchange 1, Calories 90, Carbohydrates 5 g, Protein 7
g, Fat 5 g, Fiber 0 g, Cholesterol 21 mg!
, Sodium 264 mg.

this is tomato sauce if i wanted ketchup i would cook longer to thicken up and add splenda to it and dry mustard you can add seasoning to for your own taste :)

3to 4 tbs olive oil 2 med onion 5 med tomatoes 2 cloves garlic 1 sm sprig parsley put tomatoe in bowl pour boiling water over them set aside 5 min peel and chop oinion chop parsley finely to a pan add olive oil heat add onions cook for 5 to 10 min add garlic and parsley stir 1 min add peeled tomatoes cover and boil gently 10 to 15 min i found this have never made it hope this helps

well i don't make tomatoe sauce i do make salsas and mock strawberry jam using tomatoes and orka with tomateos i have made bbq sauce too but i have a problem i make my own recipes up couldn't make it the same why twice lol
