Before you go to bed, or first thing in the morning, before you think of everything you have to do that day, Choose one good thing to do for yourself, that would make you happy and feel better about who you are and what your needs are,and do it first if time allows. It could be visiting diabetic-connect, and reading or posting, discuss, whatever; a bit, or maybe play with your dogs, or a walk or jog; talk to someone special on the phone; allow yourself something very special because you deserve it, because it makes issues (health##1) that you deal with everyday to be so much more manageable, and less distressing knowing that is all you have to look forward to everyday. I just talked to my husband on the phone, and told him how much better I FELT (especially, Emotionally) he agreed that he would do this every Friday.
