Having a Stressful Day!

As anyone every had one of those day's where people just don't listen and customer service just sucks? I am having one of those day. We purchased an All-In-One HP Scanner, Copier, Printer and Fax for our business. It has never been right since we purchased it and I have called the company 14 times now about the problem. Today I got so frustrated and mad after doing the same thing 14 times I just unleashed on the second guy today. I asked to be given to a supervisor and theytranfered me to a Manager within the company who is to be helping me until my problem is resolved. HOPE HE DOES. The gears never worked correctly on the paper feed and the fax only works every so often not good when customers fax things to you frequently.

We had an HP that turned into a paper shredder after printing less than 50 pages. We had it strapped to the table so the cats couldn't knock it off, but the HP warranty folks said "Ooh, must've fallen and can't be repaired". We went with a Brother MFC and so far with moderate use it's been great. Of course the Dr's office I worked in had 3 B&W small business MFCs and they were all great, too.

I am glad my headache with mine is over they sent me a new one after arguing with them and asking for a supervisor they gave me the GM and he replaced no questions asked. Thank Heavens.

Yes I did. I was having issues with the replacement printer they sent me but I called my local office supply store and they helped me with the issue I was having with it and it works great. Now I have to wait for the GM to call me tomorrow and then it should all be good.

sounds like monday fell into the rest of your week. We have an HP all in one… I have to say that I haven't had any issues with ours since I got it. I seem to have bad days everyday now… sadly enough, my first job was mcd's, so customer service is something I learned to deal with daily… get enough big macs thrown at you… you learn to brown nose… get more bees with honey than vinegar… I got so good at it, i had a mailman who when he came in only wanted me to make his grilled chicken sandwich… no one else could make it… It got so I hated seeing him park in the parking lot…

I also work at mcd's for my first job and know what you mean I worked there from jr high thru my intire hs school years 6 years way to long. I did recieve the new machine tday but now have issue with it as it is a wireless and i have no wireless router it didn't get here until 5:30 pm and so by the time i recieved it the gentleman that was to call and make sure i recieved itwas gone for the day at work so it did spill over until monday. Can't wait for that conversation. It does have a plug in in the back were looks like you can hook it up to what I do have, when I tried it though and followed set instructions it kept telling me the device was corrupted. So I guess it is still the waiting game for the weekend. I know it is not the computer because when I purchased the All-In-One I had just bought a new computer as well. Electronic can't live with them and can't live without them anymore that is what everything is.

When you talk to them again, tell them you are bringing it back and getting a… Canon. Some brand they will know. And that you will definely let your friends and family know what kind of service you received from them. That usually works for me. Good Luck

Thanks! I got my new one yesterday, they called to see if I recieved it but it had not come yet, so they are to call me back on Monday. I was worried because I was having problems with set up because it is wirelessand i did not have wireless router, but I called my local office supply store and they said you can use it wireless or plug into the computer thank god. i have it hooked up and it works great.

IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT, YOU SOUND LIKE A VERY PATIENT
PERSON,FOR ME AFTER TWO OR THREE TIMES, I WOULD TAKE IT BACK,AND MAYBE PICK ANOTHER,BRAND,ANOTHER COMPANY, OR JUST GET MY MONEY
BACK. I HAVE SENT MANY EMAILS,ABOUT THIS TYPE OF SITUATION,AND
LETTERS ALSO…AND THANK GOD,IT USUALLY WORKS…CUSTOMER SERVICE

My solution when things don't work and you have tried everything is to take the thing up to the bell tower that we have at work and just drop it and see how many times it will bounce! Or, theres the duck pond, just casually walk by and drop the thing in. Oops!!
I've never actually done these things (I need my job) but the visual of doing them makes me feel oh, so much better!
Sometimes I thing these machines were invented to torment us, not to make our jobs easier :)

That sounds like a plan and I would probably do one of those things but then I would have to pay to replace it. I am glad the situation has been resolved and I have a new one on its way to me. Maybe I will go throw it in I pond once the new one has arrived. Just to make me feel better and relieve the stress it has caused. GOD IDEA. THANKS!

May be you have a lemon !! I would take it back to the store and talk with manager of the store. Tell him the dates you have called in and the problems that you are having. Tell him you have a business and intend to grow your business and if wants your future business you would like to exchange this lemon for a new one. Tell him it never worked right and you feel he should stand behind his product. Do not talk to a lower level person talk to owner or top manager of store. try this and let me know how it goes. Be firm but pleasant! Diaschm

When I was posting this morning I was on the phone with the company that manufactures the product as I went back to the store yesterday and take with the manager there. I was conected to Tech support again and as for a supervisor when thesupervisor came on the line Iexplained to him all the times I called in and what I did everytime Icalled. He tried to tell me my product was not under warranty and told him it was as I had the original purchase reciept from the store I bought it from. He gave me to the GM of the company. I emailed him a copy ofthe reciept and an hour later he called me back. They are sending me a new machine that is better than the one I have and I should have it tomorrow. I asked him about the ink that I have as I always buy three black and three color cartridges at a time and I have four that our unopened he is going to call me tomorrow and make sure I recieve the new machine and then conect me to an ink specialist that will take care of getting the ink that I have returned and getting me cartridges for the new machine coming. Thank God.

yes somedays just doesn't pay to get out of bed one thing starts off wrong then even thing else just falls in line going down hill after it just rember at the bottom the only way is has to go back up lol hang in there it will get better fine one thing to be happy about and grin tickle the kids listen to them giggle and the rest will follow
