Not only do Android apps run great on smart phones, but there are dozens of cheap, new e-readers coming onto the market that use the Android operating system and can run most of the same applications. I bought one for a little over $100 (WAY cheaper than my phone!) and it runs every app my phone does, except for ones having anything to do with GPS or making/receiving phone calls. The print is obviously much easier to read, and you can download the Kindle for Android app if you want to download and read ebooks. The e-reader I have is about 7" and very easy to read. I have it on my night stand and use it as an alarm clock/radio (it does streaming audio and has built-in speakers).

Hi yes I also have a android. I found a awsome app to help log my insulin injections, bs, exercise and a1c . Its called glucol. Its also graphs my bs and I show the graph to my doctor. Its exteremly helpful! If you take insulin too take a look at this app! It also charts my insulin! Wonderful! :) yes I love the new things they come out with and I love my android!

Thanks! I'm going to check it out. Does anyone know if DiabeticConnect is working on an app for android phones? I'd scoop it up in a minute! How do we contact DC to request an app?

I have android phone also and no dc does not have an app that works with our phone :( however the site works perfectly fine on our phone WITHOUT an app. As a matter of fact I'm writing on my android right now :) so really we don't need an app. We have full site access already just on our phones without an app! :)
