I found this site by typing in diabetes control in my browser. I love this site because of all the people here, the recipes, and the news articles. It is so helpful and good to know that there are others out there who are dealing with the same issues I am.

I belonged to another diabetic site and one day someone had posted something about DC and so I came and looked and signed up. I love this site and the people on it. We all have a common goal and that is taking care of Diabetes.

I was searching for information about something for my Jem, who also was a PWD. DC came up as one of the answers to the search (don't remember what it was now) but I clicked on it and signed in and looked around. It quickly became a favorite website for me.

Diabetic Connect is fabulous! I recommend it to everyone I meet that has been diagnosed w/ diabetes. The articles, the recipes, the discussions, the support, the friendships - DC has it all.

I was looking for information for a friend who has diabetes, and my daughter has gestational diabetes and diabetes runs in my family. When I got here and saw all the good information I signed up. I'm overweight all ready, so I consider this a chance to change my life to PREVENT from getting diabetes in the future by following the food plan and exercise tips.

Just by sheer luck I guess I was up one night when I couldn't sleep and found it to be very informative and it felt like it was the place where I needed to b.And no sooner did I sign up and log in their was a flood of warmth, open arms.I have never felt anything like that ever not even in a face to face group setting.Thank you DC.

March 3rd 2010 … the night of my phone diagnosis. I was surfing the web and one of the first sites to come up was Diabetic Connect. I joined and after surfing a few other similar online groups made my way back here. I still check out the other sites for recipes, tips, discussion topics, news stories, etc. but have yet to beat the fantastic family that I have here. You guys are stuck with me!
