I will soon be getting my first pair of "diabetic shoes". Any advice or bad experiences? I was told when my feet were examined that my circulation was not that good in my feet and I have noticed that the spider veins in my ankles are getting worse. Does that mean I will end up with those compression stockings??? I hope not!

Compression stockings aren't that bad. I need them because of bad veins. Compared to how my legs feel the short time I am standing during a day without them, like while taking a shower, they feel pretty good. Compared to the pain when I had open leg wounds and cellulites, the compression stockings feel wonderful.
There are several types of treatments for spider veins. The vein ablation I had for my larger veins is one type. I don't remember the other type of surgeries or lasar treatments available.
