This site has the most practical information for all. We learn from each other and even if we aren't dr,'s or dieticians, we all experience basically the same thing and we have one thing in common. We are all diabetics. I like hearing from someone who may be experiencing some of the same problems I have then hearing from someone who has never had a problem. It's like the person without children giving advice to the parent of 3.

Diabect Connect has made a huge difference in my life. I have learned so much from so many wonderful diabetics on this site…real friendships have emerged and I am grateful to each and everyone…

yes, honestly i dont know what i would have done without these wonderful people giving me support. when i first got put on insulin i was lost and afraid and i got such warm wonderful support from this site. il never forget it. now i try to give back what was given to me to others who need it. thats what it is all about. its really a Godsend. i hope you also find the support you need here at DC.

I started out in 1998 on the old USENET newsgroups, and have been involved on many lists and sites. I like this site but I am also involved on several others that are also good at what they do.
