I just read about another woman who has experienced having to deal with bubbles in the reservoir even after having tapped them out. They reappear within an hour or two and the insulin cannot get through. The pump indicates that the insulin has been delivered but it hasn't, resulting in extremely high sugars. One of my readings was 580! Even though I removed the pump and began injecting, it took 3 days to get my readings back to a safe level. I am wondering if this is another defect in the reservoir attachment to the canula. Air has to be getting in somehow. I have been on the pump for over 5 years and have never experienced this before. Anyone else having this similar problem?

I saw your posting on another discussion on pumps.

Rather than going through all the trouble of tracking down all the discussion on pumps it would be better to post a new discussion with the same information.

You will get more attention, for a longer period, and you won't get red-flagged for posting spam (which IS against DC terms of use to which you agreed when you signed up to DC.
