I love fruit too but that is one thing that shoots my sugar way up even following the guide lines so my doctor said no more juices , not even orange juice. A 8oz glass shot my numbers one day from 198 to 224 so my doctor said no

I think if you do a meter test of what your BG does when you drink fruit juice versus what it does when you eat a real piece of fruit, I suspect you'll find that you'll not go as high with the piece of fruit than the juice by itself.

It has to do with the fiber content of the fruit, versus the relative lack of fiber in the juice, Karie.

Thank you Karie! I love my berries! But i must be careful because they do have some carbs and they can add up quickly! I love frozen strawberries, especially on a hot summer day!
