Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me… I am experiencing extreme pain in my right leg…primarily in my knee. It hurts to just sit here or even lay down. This just started today and is getting worse. I am a type I and my sugars have been running high the last couple of weeks… I've been reading that it could be neuropathy. Should I go to the hospital right away or should i just schedule an appointment with my doctor and take some pain medication.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

How is your knee?

Knee is getting better. I did end up going to the ER that night. They did an ultrasound and found nothing. I then went to my doctor two days later and she thinks I just "hurt myself". She said it's not that hard to pull a ligament in your leg. I'm going to for an MRI tonight just to make sure… thanks for all your support everyone! Glad to know it wasn't anything serious…

Howdy Kelly!
It could be so many things that it would be hazardous (to you) to take a guess. Pain is a sign that something is wrong with your body. It could be neuropthy, OR a blood clot, or an unknown case of arthritis of some kind. DO NOT HESITATE — GO TO THE ER OR QUICK CARE CENTER TO GET IT CHECKED OUT ASAP!

Praying it is nothing serious, but PLEASE get it checked out TODAY!
