Thanks for the info on my last question about being in denial. I did get with hospital and they have classes I can go to and learn how to get in control of being a diabetic.
Anyone have any suggestion's on this, I work nights 7pm-8am and on 4 off 4 days. I do good on my off days but I walk so much at night I hit the vending machines and I do take snacks of 15 carbs ea. But I can't seem to keep sugar in check . Either to low or to high. Stress at work doesn't help either.Any suggestions?

I work 10 pm to 6 am for three nights, then do a short turn around for a 2 pm to 10 pm shift. So far eating a good protein low carb meal before work and then having a Luna bar at work, sometines a 2nd one, has kept my BG good. I do alot of walking and other exercising during my shifts.I cant tell if work stress is making a difference due to having been under so much stress in the past 4 years. My BG when I get off any shift has usually been between 79 to 105, even the shift after the 4 to 5 hrs sleep time due to the short turn around.

It takes time to get to the point you will be able too keep your BS good at work .
I to would eat things I know that where not good for me ,After time I got there where I would bring the snaks that I can have and leave the junk food be.
You will get there, I know you will .
Best wishes
