Breakfast anyone?

I rarely eat breakfast and when I do it's not much. What do you eat for breakfast? That's easy and delicious at the same time.

I usually eat a small bowl of cereal (right now its kelloggs fiber plus cinnamon oat crunch), a banana, piece of cinnamon toast, and small cup of chocolate milk. I been using calorie countdown milk its got much fewer carbs than regular milk. If I'm not very hungry I'll just eat one of those things and a hazelnut iced coffee from mcdonalds…I love those.

I eat some ceral (usually differs from week to week) but right now I am eating Nature's Path Ancient Grains Granola. It's got Quinoa, Amaranth, Khorasan Wheat, and one other grain that escapes me right now. I put Vanilla soymilk on it, or if I have it I prefer unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. In addition to that I eat a piece of fruit, lately I have been going with either a Red Plum or a Fuji Apple. A little high in sugars / carbs but I haven't had an a1c above 7 in about ten years so I figure I'm doing OK.

During the week, I'll have a lite yogurt, granola bar and coffee. It's easy to eat at my desk. Weekends is usually scrambled or hard boiled eggs and a piece of toast and coffee.

I have recently started making quiche for breakfast and I make it for the week along with ricotti cheese and a piece of fruit

I eat 4 scrambled eggs with quinoa, or just plain quinoa with hot sauce on it. The quinoa takes 15 min to cook, so I make a large batch and put in the fridge. Just take out and dish up 2/3 cup and heat in microwave for 2 min. and sprinkle hot sauce on it for taste. Delicious and diabetic food in the same sentence don't mix.

i usally have oatmeal or cereal and fruit or yogurt nuts meat or even cheese, small juice small milk. or egg fruit nut meat small juice small milk. sometimes breads or muffin with fruit that's with the egg breakfast. 2 times a week oatmeal 2times a week cereal 3times a week egg idea.kinda like a routine way of been so i don't get tired of the same thing.makes it easy this way.

I love whole grain toast with peanut butter, and a hard boiled egg. I have just discovered Greek style yogurt (nonfat and plain). I love it with berries. I add a piece of toast with Smucker's sugarfree preserves.

You don't have to limit yourself to "breakfast" foods.

But since you ask what I eat for breakfast, I eat 2 hard boiled eggs. It is easy as I boil a dozen eggs at a time, so it is quick most mornings. You can even peel them ahead of time and keep them in Tupperware should you wish. If I want a change I will fry 2 eggs or a couple sausages instead. I personally try to stay away from the carbohydrates as much as possible.

Depends on what I have in the refrigerator. Eggbeater and vegetable/ham omelette or open face peanut butter sandwich. Might have a veggie burger. Apple or other piece of fruit. Large cup of tea (no sweeteners. I like it that way). I want to try the Glucerna cereal, but none of the stores near me carry it. I miss having cereal with fruit for breakfast.

I don't eat breakfast coke or coffee to wash my pills down, but if I do I find a veggie burrito is quick and easy. Make several up at once. Reheat in microwave
