1)Cook with Olive Oil or Canola Oil instead of butter or margarine. 2)Snack on vegetables,fruit and nuts instead of fatty snack foods. 3)Add olives and avocados to salads. 4)Try to eat more bean-based dishes, such as lentils or split pea soup and black beans and rice. 5) Eat fish twice a week. Canned sardines,tuna and salmon are good choices if the cost of fresh fish is too high. 6) Choose whole-grain breads, cereal, pasta,and rice. 7) Use nonfat or low fat milk and yougurt. 8) Check with your Dr. about 1 glass of red wine with your dinner. 9)Eat slowly and enjoy your food. 10) Be physical active.
