Just got the bad news today my 3 month A1C test was at 13.5 up from 12.9 my endo is throwing a fit about it. She told me that i'm not taking my meds and i'm eating foods that i should not have. We watch everything that we eat no fat on anything i use my grill year round no deep fried foods. I asked her if it could be that i have native american indian in me since my grandma was a full blooded indian she told me no way but i told her that the indians are known for diabetes. I contacted my pcp because of short term memory loss and sever headaches i asked her about this and she told me that treating someone who has indian blood in them is hard to get regulated and she is going to contact the endo and tell her to research this.

Three of my frends are full NA
and they keep there BS good ???
You sead low fat that's not what to look for it is low carb your looking for I dont even look at the fat it just dont matter .
One snack bag of chips will send me way off if I dont cover for them with insulin
Try cutting the carbs see how that works for you.
It may do better for you if they put you on insulin to get your #'s down and then see if you can keep them down with yhs pills and diet
Best wishes

Sorry to hear that-it must be frustrating to feel you are doing everything right but not getting the results you want. Your doctor should not be throwing a fit but helping you figure out how to get on track. That's great that you are limiting fats. Are you also counting carbs? Because that can have the biggest effect on your numbers.
