Chuckle, giggle, baw-haw…however you do it, do it daily and do it a lot. It is one infection you will want to share.

I was watching a news story the other day that was featuring Yoga Laughter. Instead of ooulmmmms, there were giggles, face to face laughter and interaction. The founder of this was saying that our bodies don't know the difference between a real laugh or a fake laugh. So when we laugh, we release chemicals in our bodies that make us feel better. I forget the numbers she shared, but as children we laugh easily 75% more than we do as adults. What is wrong with that picture? Besides, you can burn some serious calories whit some good belly laughs.

I just have noticed that so many of us face depression and struggles. I thought that if you took just a few minutes a day and laughed out loud at something, anything…most likely our selves. Perhaps we could free ourselves of some of the gloomy gips.

So let's see more of those LOL's and LMAO's on here. He,he,he's are welcome and ha,ha,ha's are too.

Be someone who is fun to be with today.

Gabby, My husband is the funniest person I have ever met. He can make me laugh even when I'm in the worst of my depression and just feel like crying. Laughfter really is the best medicine. I love this post, thanks.

My husband does the tickle thing when I am really blue. I hate it at first, but once I start laughing, well....I just can't stop. It does always make me feel better. He also does a Donald Duck voice that just cracks me up. Kids love it too.

I could never find a tickle spot on my husband until after we got married. Then I found a great time for it . I loved to torment him, it really made me smile.

Yes sir reee. We have our moments. But we usually have a great time together. We are always happiest when we are on a mission to get something done togehter. We make a great team. We are polar opposites in a lot of ways, but I guess that's what makes it work.

ok, you guys have to post a video! this is just too funny sounding. I only get about 12 channels, and CMT is banned in our house anyway even if I did get it. What a hoot! I am using my imagination right now...who thinks of these things? LOL

I remember the mattress surfing now . They tied it to the back of a fourwheeler. It was hilarious.

Gabby I'm trying to find a video of it for you.

Here you go ladies

I would put your mute button on first or at least turn down your volume. There is some music in the background some might not like…I think its Korn, but I couldnt tell.

I LOVE the episode with the wrong dress…isnt that the same one where she couldnt find her teeth and her mom offered her hers…OMG…they were like no bid deal…

OMG, that is just too crazy! I saw something similar last night on TV. We were watching "Funniest Moments" with Arsino Hall, and they were mud surfing on a board or something. Just like the mattress surfing, but a lot messier.

Be ever so thankful to God for him. My husband died 2 years ago and I have so many regrets, but I do remember the good times together and that he did love me at the end.

Pets are a great source of happiness, even when they are being bad. We have two dogs and 4 snakes and the snakes can really make me giggle. Once I had mine out for some time toghether and she decided she wanted my glasses. I will have to post the picture it is so funny. She took them off and wrapped them up. I had to wait for her to give them back to me.

What a wonderful reminder for us to laugh. There are times when I think that I will never laugh again, but then my 3 year old does something so out of the ordinary that I can't help but giggle.

Finding something to laugh at on a regular basis is a great way to help release endorphins and make us feel better…

There has been nothing to laugh, smile or joke about on this site in 2 days. It will never be the same. Too much damage to repair.

John posted a great article about a Diabetes Coach that has a wonderful sense of humor. Here is a quote

"I actually added one behavior: humor, because laughing lowers your glucose, just as stress raises it. I researched Norman Cousins work on how humor affects health. Forty years ago, he started humor therapy on the premise that if negative thoughts are proven to have negative physiological effects, on the flip-side, wouldn’t positive thoughts produce positive physiological effects? Not that laughing will give you more insulin, but it helps you cope and do better."

It is one of the easiest ways to lower your stress levels and your BG levels. I know I need to do it more.
