Howdy and WELCOME to DC!
I urge you to do your best to remember your meds. You are on them for a reason.
I am currently not on any meds for my diabetes, I control it with my eating plan. I am on other meds for other conditions I have. It also depends on the medication as to what happens should I miss a dose,. If I miss a dose of something that takes a while to be fully effective, then not much happens unless I miss a lot of doses in a row. Others, like my blood pressure meds, I can usually tell on my next daily blood pressure reading.

I would urge you not to stop taking your diabetes meds. If you are having some problem with side effects, get in touch with your Dr and let Dr know about it and what Dr would have you do about it.

I take "breaks" from taking my med and my blood surgar goes thru the roof and then I always regret not taking it for the day. Thats why i only do it here and there, because I love to see things. I can tell when my blood sugar is high because my vision gets blurry almost immedialy . and I feel bad. I would never recommend doing that but for me it happens. I have to drive my son to work and sometimes he goes in at weird times and forget actually to take my meds with me. Its not good. I hope you dont not take your meds every day. Its really not worth loosing your toes or your vision. Thank you for listening to me. Have a great day!!
