I have had my sugars under good control since 1994. All of a sudden, after losing 50 pounds and beginning to walk 5 days a week, my fasting blood sugar is consistantly in the 130's. I am baffled. All my other counts, 1 hour and 2 hours after meals, etc are between 85 and 106. I really don't know what to do. Anyone have any advice.

I will try the fiber before seeing the Doc. They aren't critically high so before my Sept. quarterly appt., I want to try to make adjustments myself. This morning, I realized I had forgotten my medications last night. My sugars were 101! Go figure. :)
