I know I am not eating right but when I try, I get the runs real bad. I do not have much food as it is due to lack of funds and no food stamps. I am mostly eating bread, we get it free once a week where I live and the other thing I have is plenty of water. The water makes me feel full for awhile. And of course I have no energy eating this way. I feel bad. I feel like I am cheating myself and everyone here.

I am so sorry to hear that Robbin. I pray that you can find a solution to that problem soon! You can't live on bread like that indefinitely. Can you get food stamps or tap into some other social service agency which could assist you with getting better nutrition for you.

Have you seen a Dr about your runs? Get it checked out please if you can.

Robbin, I take it you are no longer in the nursing home. If you have a social worker
call her and ask about meals on wheels, The SHARE Program. Many areas of the
country have this program. You pay about $20. per month and are provided with
enough food for a family of four for a week. Its usually fresh garden fruits and
vegetables, rice, chicken, ground turkey and so on. If there is a local Senior services
or office on aging call them. They usually have local programs to assist handicapped
and older adults. There have to be services in your area.

I wish I could come up with answers for your situation because I understand there are so many people like you. Have you checked with a local food bank, meals on wheels, church programs, community gardens??? Do you have the space to grow your own fruits or vegetables? Do you have local restaurants that can help to feed you??? Check with your yellow pages for "social service agencies" and try to get help. You cannot live on bread and water, even in prison.
