wow this heat is terrible!! probably not as bad where im from(just a small town in MI) but temps. here have reached about 102 or so with the heat index.before being diagnosed t1 i was cold all the time…often wearing sweatshirts and jeans on hot days just to feel comfortable, now im hot almost all the time, and the past few days goig crazy tring to stay cool. i do have air conditioning, although it doesnt seem like it with the temps. getting so high, and i have been sipping on ice water and sucking on ice chips. i have also been using cold compresses. does anyone have any other suggestions on how to stay cool? also does the heat bother anyone else more now then before they were diagnosed? is it normal?

Air conditioning, luke warm showers, fans and drinking ice water. Before being diagnosed, I was more affected by hot weather. Since I have been diagnosed, temperatures below 70 degrees make my feet hurt and I find it very difficult to keep warm.
