I read the other day that anything over 140 does damage. I guess the normal safe range depends on who you ask cause everybody says something different.

I just heard tonight from a friend that the new normal numbers were 70 to 100. So his fasting readings of 110 put him in the "diabetic" category rather than "prediabetes" in his new Dr's viewpoint.

My dr says my bs should be 130 and lower in am and 2 hrs after dinner should be not higher than 180.

Every one's blood glucose reading is different.
It should be between 70-120- for morning fasting and lower than 180 after a meal.
Mine is usually 95 in the mornings

Hello and welcome
For me it is 80 to 120 is good
anything over 145 will do harm to your body
Hope this helps
Best wishes

Yes, thanks. It answers my question. I was wondering. This morning I tested 93 fasting and after lunch 87. so it made me wonder if that was normal or what. thanks again.
