try not to get scared because it causes stress and avoid any stressful situations as much as possable stress will cause hi blood sugar levels to and readings

Oh, my - I feel your pain! Last July I was in the exact same position - diagnosed with D2 just before my spinal surgery (disk between L-4 and 5 removed and an inplant inserted) - surgery had to be postponed until I could get under control. My original nunbers were 12.5, so nearly where you are. I was taking a lot of insulin to begin with; stress and pain were not helping to control it at all. Finally got it down enough to have the surgery; took a long time to heal and be pain free, but now I'm pretty much under control with just metformin, and able to walk with just a cane for assistance. I can also drive again after a year of being dependent on others, so there is hope! Hang in there, watch your diet, take your meds as prescribed - it only took a month for me to get under control, and praying that you will have a similar outcome!

thx u that helps, i just hope i can get it back under control at least enough for them to do the surgery, then i can work on losing this extra weight and getting my life back, but yes all the pain is just messing with BS readings and keeping it high, unless i don"t eat then it stays at 80, which is not good, then i feel shakey and my stomach feels yucky, but no matter what i eat it just raises it, so frustrated

well i was put back on insulin 70-30 first wasn"t working so now on the blue and orange flex pen insulin , use it about 5 shots per day but 10 units was not working so it varies each time from 12 to 18 units depending on how high, when i do my bs reading, i also am doing the weighing of food and stuff, portion control, but i seemed to have gained like 7 lbs, so frustrated and depressed, it seems like i just can"t get it under control, but thx u for asking i could use some help or suggestions, if u know of any thing that might help

Oh no! My mom has had two surgeries on her back. I use an all natural supplement called Slim and then I would recommend Yoga
