Blood Sugar 101: What they don't tell you about diabetes
I came across this great site, Blood Sugar 101, with loads of useful information for diabetics. I think it would be especially appreciated by those newly diagnosed. Wondering if anyone else has heard of it? You can find it at:

thanks i'll look it up.
You're welcome! Hope you like it.
When I was diagnosed (1 year ago) it was one of the most useful sites I visited. I still think it's excellent and refer to it on occasion.
I'm a 20 yr T2 but I think the site will give me more important infor. Does anyone know if Barnes & Noble has a similar book for the Nook?
I'm newly diagnosed so I found this site very helpful…thanks.
You're welcome! I've been diabetic for about 8 years, but I also found a lot of information they didn't tell me about!
Amazon has a book for the Kindle on BS101. It's an interesting read and quick.
I didn't see that - still exploring. Thanks!
There are 2 books for the kindle. One is Blood
sugar 101 by Jenny Ruhl and the other is Type 2 Diabetis by Gretchen E. Becker. Both of these are good for newly diagnosed people.
Thanks. I found the links to the books!
Good site with lots of information.
Great site, thanks for posting
You're welcome.
Thank you, Frances for sharing this website. I have been aware of it for quite some time now. Thanks for telling the newer members about it and reminding those of us who've been around here a while.
I wish I'd know about this site when I was first diagnosed. I'm still not sure how I came across it, but I'm glad I did. It's been a real eye opener!
I wish I had DC and the other sites for people with diabetes available when I was first Dx'd in 1995. But I wasn't even on the internet till 1999 or so. Might have not made so many mistakes.
Thanks for this site.
You're welcome.
I have sent a lot of people to that site over the years it is a great site
It is a bit dry but it's all there
Best wishes
Harlen
I guess it doesn't seem dry to me because I'm a school teacher! I'm still reading: - )
That's a good thing
Thanks for sharing. Looks like it has a lot of information. Can't wait to check it out.
