can't go dangerously low I know, controlling by diet and exercise, but one day recently, I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. All I ate, was a big salad , with a good serving of edamame, put some sunflower seeds on it, a few carrots, bell peppers, onions, almost everything they had, and low fat dressing. I also ate one of their small homemade bread rolls that they serve when the salad was taking too long to fill me up, I was pretty hungry at that time. Afterward, I was in a store and felt that familiar low feeling, I could not believe it, I went into the restroom to check my BS and it was 75!! How could this happen? I felt better after a few minutes but left the store.

For me, 75 is not a low. Have hou had high BG readings previously? My bride Jem used to get what I call false lows, she would have the symptoms of a low, but when we got a meter reading she was well within the normal range.

What did you do to feel better?

What was your reading before you ate?

I don't know. I did not check that morning. It was no longer than 45 mins. after I ate lunch that I felt so weird. It lasted for a few minutes. This has happened a few times before over the last 2 years, but not that soon after a meal.
