Good morning DC friends, I hope that all is well with each and everyone. We here in Chicago and other parts of the country is about to experience some extreme heat. Have me thinking about the year 1995 when over 700 people died from heat related causes. Lets remember to stay hydrated and cool. Also, don't let us forget to check up on our edlery parents, friends and neighbors.
Here's hoping that all have a blessed and fun filled day.

Thanks, a good reminder. I think we're up to 13 or 14 days in Dallas over 100 degrees, up to 105 I think. Worst part is, the lows at night are 84, so even when I go out to walk at 6 am, it's still a furnace outside.

True! I took my puppy out last night around 10:30 and the temp was at 85 degrees.

and that is in Chicago, Right? What I find is bothersome is not the heat but the humidity in the areas which have high humidity.
