Just got an email that brought a smile to my face:

Can't afford a doctor?
Just go to the airport. You will get a complete physical, a breast exam, a free x-ray and if you mention Al Qaeda, you will get a free colonoscopy!

I was lucky the last time at Syracuse airport, due to mr being with a security guard pushing me in a wheelchair, I was bypassed on th ecolonoscopy! My family doctor insists on this exam for the past several years, no way! I hear they can "see right thru you now" - they need an x wide screen for me! HaHAHA, Grandpa Bill

by the way…I swear when I eat the food is going straight into my the nerves of hands and feet. I feel these weird sensations from them while I am eating? has anyone ever had this experience.. what is going on in my body here?

I sometimes have problems holding my fork, spoon or knife when eating. This is not the same as you are experiencing, but to get the food to my mouth at times is a miracle. My hands are weak at times, need a sharp knife to cut the meat or vegatable. At least I can eat the good meals my wife Linda prepares for us@ Grandpa Bill

My father would shake a lot at times.I bought him a traveling mug. It helped him a little. My mother had a hard time holding eating utensils, so my dad got a piece of blue foam rubber that was hollowed out in the middle enough to slide the handle of her fork and her spoon. It helped her eat a little better.

i realize this is off-topic for this discussion, but can you describe these "wierd sensations"? (better yet, start a new discussion with this as your question)

So did your email include photos of what the body scan looks like? The one someone sent me did. Did you hear about the politician in SLC that refused to go through the body scan? He made the news and he accused the security people of harassment because they held him for over an hour before they would finally clear him to go on. Maybe that is why they have you arrive 2 hours early. Just in case you say, "No!" they can hold you for the line having the complete physical.

Hey, I've got to fly in a week or so, I can cancel my doctor's appt. Soon they'll want blood samples at the airport. We can forget ObamaCare. They'll give us a choice, come in every 6 months or go visit your local airport. LOL

It depends on the airport on what they have. The International Airports have more stuff. I forget what the initials are for the airport security force, but you can go to their website and you will find that you can carry on bottled water in a reasonable quantity (I had 6 bottles for 10 hours between 1st takeoff and final destination), plus all of my medications with me, as well as my CPAP machine.

Saw a person getting the full body pat-down at O'Hare recently. Oh my! Wasn't happening to me and I still blushed…

I give up. I have spent to much time trying to figure it out. So has everyone else, but I am the only one who will humble himself to ask. What is lqtm? Laughing quietly to myself is the only thing I could come up with! Jim

Yeah, especially when LOL does double duty with Lots of Love and Laugh out loud!
As in, "I am sorry your mother died. lol" or "I am glad your test went well. lol"

OH MY! I didn't see those full body scans at the airport when I flew from Vegas to Detroit. All they had was the metal detectors in operation

I expect the body scans be in operation in Detroit when I make my return flight on the 27th. LoL!

Just be careful if they ask you to touch your toes or grab your ankles!

now ! thats an idea , whos' time has come…we should gather in mass and march on a major airport…demanding our x-rays etc…that would have 'em rethinking security…for sure…wouldn't we all look so silly on the 5 o'clock news !too funny ! loved it !
