Today, I went to donate blood but my pulse was too high. The lady took it three times with fast pulse. I have a blood pressure machine at home which also reads your pulse. My pulse has been over 100 without exercising. Is this something to worry about. I do not know what fast pulse does or why your body has a fast pulse.

My bride Jem had tachycardia (fast pulse) quite frequently when she was alive. She was quite weak because of it. Some weeks she slept 20 of 24 hours in a day. She had congestive heart failure. Tachycardia had so many causes it is good you are going to the Dr soon. I pray Dr finds your cause, and is able to correct it easily. Sometimes Jem was just low on potsassium. Other times her blood volume was low. There are a lot of reasons which could be causing it.

A fast pulse indicates your heart is working harder than normal. You should check with your doctor is there is something that is keeping your pulse high when you are not exercising. My doctor put me on a beta blocker to reduce my pulse and lower my blood pressure.
